June never felt this relaxing.

Hiiiiiiii everyone! :)

I finally decided to post something substantial (or maybe not) since it's the holidays.
Well I am mad glad that the pace just slowed down. More time to myself, even though I still need to juggle studies and exercise my brain. I kind of miss how it feels like to spend so long just typing away on this blog.

Well, my first and second week of the June holidays were filled with classes! And during the second week I went for zone camp 2010, aka Camp Fearless! And praise God that I went because not only was it such an awesome camp (kudos to camp comm!) I actually was facing parental objection from the beginning, since a month before this camp. But in less than 48 hours before the start of camp on 8th June, my dad just relented and let me go for camp (except that I cannot stay overnight but it's okay). God is so faithful, amen!

TEAM GUTSY, FTW! :)

Even though Gutsy was a relatively small team (others had an average of 7 members), I'm glad nevertheless.
This picture was taken after the amazing race on Day 2. Super xiong lah, first station we already kena Thiam Siang's/Weijie's station. Need to place a clove of raw garlic in your mouth, plus ENO powder (which produces bubbles upon contact with water) and a raw egg. Then faster run around a lamp post 10 times before climbing onto the playground and doing 5 jumping jacks. Then faster go down the slide and stand on some platform and jump 5 times. Then crawl through some little window thing at the playground before spitting it all out into a bottle.

And there was a netting over the bottle mouth so if you want your contents to go in, you gotta chew your garlic and 'burst' the raw egg yolk. Disgusting max, most of us campers like wanna gag the moment we think about it ahahahah.

2nd station was charades, except that all of us had to walk an excruciating long path of those really sharp pebbles and stones.

3rd station required us to retrieve a marble inside a pail filled with either A) used/expired food or B) baby catfish + tadpoles + frogs. Pail A was worth 100 points while Pail B was 300 points though so all of us did the latter. PERSONALLY, I think Pail A is actually more disgusting LOL.

4th station was having to eat 2 whole apples hanging in the air at different heights. The higher it is the more points it's worth. Gotta do it with any part of your body except for your face. And the apples were covered in oil and wasabi. -_-

5th station was using only our mouths to retrieve mentos/tictacs/soyabeans from flour.

6th station = most cui for me. 2 people had to hold a plastic sheet and stand at the bottom of the slope while the rest at the top throws tomatoes for them to catch. After that, we gotta use our butts to squash the tomatoes and transfer its juice into this container. AND THEN WE HAD TO DRINK IT ALL UP.

I drank a little and I gagged super badly. Rosemary and Lilian said it was nice though, and I cannot see why. :(

Camp aside, last Friday I met up with Stella and Suyu for a day out together! :)
Too bad Jieralyn and Yvonne couldn't make it though! We had lunch together before playing at the arcade at Tampines Mall together. We played DDR until we perspire lah, and it's super fun lor HAHAHA. Battle mode + mad fast songs. (Y)

After that, went to basement to buy more food, then went to Tampines 1 for Each A Cup.
Then took bus home together. Super fun getting to know these two better, they very cute lor!! Hahaha.

Saturday, went to Suntec with cell group and Wendy for porridge lunch buffet! I like! Only $12.80 too. :)
Met up at about 12 noon and ate and ate and ate and ate a lot as I usually do at buffets/table bbqs, and after that we all went window shopping together. Haha! Then had Each A Cup before we all went out separate ways at nearly 3pm. Me, Cuixia, Yvonne and Joelyn went to City Link MPH to find Lilian and, oh my gosh....

MPH CITY LINK IS HAVING A 90% OFF
SALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*dies from happiness*

SO MANY BOOKS AND NOVELS UNDER $10 LOR. Ok wait no, lemme correct myself. A LOT OF BOOKS AND NOVELS UNDER $5!!!!! There were books priced at like $2 or $3, or even a set of 2 books for just $8 when its usual price could've been like, $30 or something.

But I couldn't afford to splurge on books (even though I super badly want to!!) so I left that place with a vow in my heart that after my O levels I shall relive my hobby of reading. For now, the only books I shall stay dedicated to are my textbooks/TYS. *indignant*

The rest decided to go to Far East but for reasons unknown the soles of my feet were already feeling sore so I took the train home instead. Slack at home for the rest of the day ahahaha.

Today's Monday and I had Amath remedials this morning from 8.30am to 10.30am. Then headed to East Point where I met Yvonne at noon. Had KFC for lunch before taking the bus to Felicia's place to study. :) Went to the study room that Felicia booked in her condo for us to use. Instead of studying we ended up playing guitar/singing!! Hahahahaha. All praise/worship songs too. By 3pm, we had to vacate the room so we went to the cafeteria to tapao early dinner and headed to the playground to makan and chit chat. *coughs*

OH OH OH AND ME AND YVONNE DID AN ACOUSTIC COVER TOO! Shout to the Lord by Chris Tomlin. Yvonne played guitar while I sang along with her. :) It's on Facebook so you can jolly well look for the video yourself. I'm not very satisfied with it LOL but it'd do. It was just for fun anyway. Haha!

Then boarded the bus and home sweet home. :D

Tomorrow, will be having Seoul Garden with Felicia, Cuixia and Yvonne! ME CANNOT WAIT.
And then got a challenge from Felly to DDR battle mode + mad fast songs mwahahahahaha prepare man Felicia LOL.

Thursday is booked for Amath remedials again although I don't know what time. And from this coming Sunday to the next Thursday I will be joining the Sec 2s for SLTC yay! Helping out but I wanna attend all the days of camp nevertheless, hahaha. Excited for campfire night, hehehehehe. :P

The Saturday after that is booked for the IGNITE conference at Cornerstone. $20 for a day's pass and $35 for 2 days, but I guess it's worth the money because the conferences are really powerpacked one! Hahaha. Cell going for the Saturday session. :)

What a busy holiday. But a break nevertheless hahaha. Oh, I so can't wait to get O levels over and done with. I'd kiss so many things goodbye.

Here's a picture of the cutest dog ever seen to end off this post:

KTHXBAIGAIS.
